Would you like to join Tredici?
Tredici is resident at the church of St Giles in the Fields which is a short walk from Centre Point. The nearest tube station is Tottenham Court Road although Covent Garden tube is not far away.
We relish the challenge of contemporary music as well as repertoire from the English, Spanish and Italian Renaissance.
Our normal weekly rehearsals take place in St Giles every Monday lunchtime between 12.45pm and 2.00pm and, because they only last for just over an hour, singers are expected to be competent sight-readers and willing to work on their own in learning some of the notes.
We also endeavour to hold a Saturday workshop each term.
We have recently enjoyed a very successful partnership with the dynamic young professionals of Orpheus Sinfonia, performing Bach's B Minor Mass to great acclaim in March 2019. More recently we have performed Brahms' German Requiem (March 2022) in a wonderful chamber orchestra arrangement by Joachim Linckelmann. Biber's Requiem and Mozart's Coronation Mass (March 2023) and requiems by Fauré and Duruflé in 2024 with organ at St Paul's Knightsbridge.
We will celebrate our 20th Anniversary with a performance of Bach's St John Passion, with orchestra, in spring 2025.
Entry is often by invitation but singers may contact me at any time with a view to auditioning.
Membership costs £65 a term. Music is normally provided but sometimes there is an additional music charge.
